PDX Sliders owner was born and raised in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland. He has worked various restaurant jobs throughout his life, and always wanted to open his own.. Sliders (a thin beef patty cooked partially on one side by raw onions, and finished with american cheese.) Was his go to late night snack. Everyone kept making burgers bigger and bigger, usually leading to half of it going home. So sliders was his choice. He knew the traditional slider alone wouldn’t please the portland pallet. He designed the menu offering various proteins, accompanied with as many local products as possible to allow people to try a couple different burgers in the same meal if they wanted. This was January 2014, it started with one cart and now he has added two trucks and he is about to close on our first brick and mortar.
